August is the month the army splits — and it is a good split.
A platform that keeps everything in one fortress eventually becomes a
prison. The design system extracts into its own package (adp-ui, with
measured coverage thresholds and axe tooling — IP-OUI-11.3), the transport
layer follows (adp-client), and the legacy Mantine shim is put down for
good (IP-OUI-11.5). Ports, not platforms: packages that outlive the
monolith that taught them what to be.
NOW SHIPPING — llm-proxy. The gateway hardens into a product: a
context-budget stage extracted clean from the dispatcher (2fe88eb), an
admin SPA with a proper fallback handler (15fdc8b), model routing that
answers to cost governance rather than optimism. One socket in front of
every model — local MoE or cloud frontier — with budgets that mean
something. The gateway is open.
And on the far ridge, barely visible: the first commits of a Quest 3 client. Unity 6, passthrough mixed reality, and a decision that will define the next two months — ADR-SCP-002, the engine is an adapter. The domain core is engine-free C#, compiled twice, tested with no Unity installed. If the engine leaked into the core, the build would refuse to compile.
Meanwhile the catalog completes its great authoring campaign: 47 of 47
agents (bdbf1a8), the capability-descriptor emitter validated
(8c0dd2d), and the vault records the uncomfortable discoveries — the
ADR-SCP-005 scanner evaded four ways, proven (663398dc). Evidence-anchored
claims are only interesting when the evidence says you were wrong.
1,887 commits. Three fronts, each with its own banner. The Long March calls.
