The quest pauses to open the gates.
A year of embers, instruments, sieges, and marches ends here — not with a
dissolve, but with the gates swinging wide. Two banners already fly:
Agent-Skill-Installer (the armory, since June) and llm-proxy (the
gateway, since August). September adds their final polish: an
scp-xr-pairing orchestrator so the fleet can drive live Unity/Quest
headset pairing (d643…, descriptor 14d2aa5), a macOS self-update release
lane (f39e688), and Blender documentation search for the specialists who
needed it (91d1c29, 28c9181).
IN THE FORGE — spatial-cognition-xr. The mixed-reality client is not
shipped yet — and the record should say so. Quest 3 passthrough, Unity 6
adapters, and underneath it a domain core that has never seen UnityEngine
in its life. Projection contracts carry provenance like a chain of custody
(ADR-SCP-004): every assertion knows its source system and evidence ref.
Reasoning overlays are append-only — the renderer visualizes the evidence
edges but cannot invent them (ADR-SCP-006). A Control Room scene where the
whole platform’s graph hangs in the air of whatever room you are standing
in. The forge is still lit on this one. When it ships, you will read it
here first.
2,085 commits in the launch window alone. The last word belongs to the ledger: blockers dropped from the record because the blockers are gone. Releases cut because the gates say so.
The adventure does not end here — a bridge for cross-harness agents just bootstrapped, the headset is still in the forge, and the platform’s next epic is already in planning. But that is a story for the next volume.
For this one: the forge is lit, the gates hold — and the headset is being forged.
